Job Description Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) provides quality water and wastewater services to 54 towns in North Central Victoria. Our core purpose is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable water services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
An opportunity awaits a seasoned digital information professional to enhance digital user experience. You will achieve this through collaboration via the Intranet and using automation to improve information management practices.

You will play a key role in managing and optimising digital information resources, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, collaboration, and usability for internal and external stakeholders.

An eye for detail, well developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to show initiative will ensure you are well equipped to complement the friendly and supportive team and perform this role.

Qualifications in an information technology or related field combined with your strong experience and understanding of information systems and technology. Your computer skills are advanced as is your ability to provide technical support to users of information management software.

About your new role...
A key function of this role will be the management and maintenance of the Intranet platform which is vital in connecting our people. Also pivotal will be the ability to improve the organisations management of electronic files, through the use of automation and workflows.
You will have exposure across the organisation through collaboration with teams to assess information needs and develop strategies for effective information management.
Strengths in engagement allow you to educate and develop colleagues to successfully utilise Digital Technology solutions throughout the business.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who are based at the Administration Building in Fryers Street – in Shepparton’s CBD Hub. You will thrive in a dynamic work environment that values creativity and innovation.
You will be afforded the ability to work flexibly, in line with GVW’s flexible working policy

About you...
To be considered for this role GVW will be looking for you to demonstrate the following:
• Diploma or above Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Management and/or equivalent technical expertise and experience
• Experience in application/system automation and integration
• Competency in the administration of M365 Applications (including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive).
• Experience with Content Manager or other EDRMS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with privacy and compliance regulations related to digital information management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital information management and recommend relevant tools or platforms for adoption.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing digital information systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Highly capable in liaising with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
• Strong OHS commitment and focus.
• Committed to contributing positively to your team and the organisation.
• Australian Citizen, permanent resident or a visa permitting you to work in Australia.
• A current driver’s licence.
• COVID-19 Vaccinated or Exemption

• Classification GVW4: $93,666 - $113,306 + superannuation (salary starting point is negotiable dependent upon relevant, qualifications, skills, and experience demonstrated)
