Job Description BAF620, BAF621 – Service Desk Officer – Fixed Term till 30 June 2024
An opportunity for a service Desk Officer has become available within the Service Desk Team of Goulburn Murray Water, based in Tatura, VIC. This is a fixed term position to the end of June 2024.
Goulburn Murray Water is Australia’s largest rural water corporation, managing 70 per cent of Victoria’s stored water resources and Australia’s largest irrigation delivery network. We provide services to 25,000 customers, supporting a diverse, productive, and sustainable region.
About the Role
We are seeking a Service Desk Officer who has experience with rollouts of hardware and software. Your primary role is deploying new laptops and mobile phones to staff, along with transferring existing mobile phones to a new Mobile Device management system. Training in GMW systems will be provided to ensure applicants have the required knowledge to perform the tasks. There will be travel to GMW offices across Northern Victoria.
Based in Tatura Office and reporting to the IT Services Manager, your primary responsibility will include:
• Assist with the replacement of computer equipment for end users.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide specialist technology advice and support to assist other business units.
• Ensure all logged incident and request tickets are managed efficiently and agreed service levels.
What do you need?
• String Customers Service Management Skills
• Experience with large scale rollouts of equipment
• Strong problem solving experience
